From whirlwind waltzes to demonic hallucinations, fall headfirst into the opium-fueled dreams of Hector Berlioz’s legendary Symphonie fantastique. In his NWS debut, armed with one of the most difficult works for cello, Sheku Kanneh-Mason proves why he is “just what classical music needs” (The Guardian). John Williams’ Grammy-winning score for The Book Thief kicks off this unforgettable one-night-only performance with Artistic Director Stéphane Denève.
