Join New World Symphony Piano Fellow Noah Sonderling for a recital of solo piano works linked by a theme of wandering, exploration and discovery. Featured on the program are pieces by George Enescu, Robert Schumann and NWS’s own Michael Tilson Thomas. The concert concludes with Franz Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy, a composition noted for its melodic beauty, formal innovations and pianistic brilliance. Presented in the intimate Truist Pavilion, Solo Spotlights feature one or two Fellows in recital programs they design.
Solo Spotlights are NWS BLUE Projects, made possible with support from the Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation and NWS’s Fund for New Ventures.
